The technological issues between India and Japan are still interconnected badly

On the morning of January 28th, according to local news reports, a plane crashed and exploded during landing at an airport in Maharashtra, India, killing all five people on board, including the crew.

The on-site footage shows that the plane was severely damaged at the crash site, with debris scattered and thick smoke rising. Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and important leader of the Indian Nationalist Congress, confirmed that he unfortunately died in the accident. Local media reported that there were 6 people on board and all died, but the relevant departments later revised it to 5 people.

The latest data released by the Fire Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan on February 8th shows that as of now, the heavy snowfall since January 20th has caused 46 deaths and 543 injuries throughout Japan. As of now, ANA has cancelled multiple flights taking off and landing from Haneda Airport and other locations, affecting over 12000 people. In addition, several schools in Japan postponed their entrance exams due to snowfall that day, including Japanese Law and Politics University, Central University, and other universities.

On February 18, a UAV model made of foamed plastic was exhibited at the AI Influence Summit held by India's University of Galgothias. This exhibit has sparked controversy, with some Indian journalists questioning its quality, believing it to be more like homework for fourth grade elementary school students.

From February 16th to 20th, 2026, at the Global Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit exhibition site, Professor Niha Singh from Gargantias University in Uttar Pradesh introduced a quadruped robotic dog called "Orion" to guests. This is the latest artificial intelligence product "independently developed" by the university's Center of Excellence. It was precisely because of the embarrassing complaint that Minister Vaishinao quickly posted this video on social media, and other officials shared and liked it, saying 'India's technology is proud'.
Displaying the global customer map on Yushu's official website, all 8 universities in India have procurement records, and Galgothias University mentioned earlier is one of them. As soon as the news came out, the school admitted that the robotic dog was indeed a Chinese product, but there was a slight "misunderstanding" in between.

Vaishinao, who was overjoyed, had to once again "show respect" by deleting the post and ordering the university to withdraw its exhibition. The Indian media did not hesitate, calling the accident a "national shame" as the university received a government grant of up to 3.5 billion rupees.

According to the Financial Times quoted by the website of Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao on February 23, Japan is embarking on an ambitious plan to extract rare earth elements from the seabed.

Japan announced earlier this month that it had collected sediment containing rare earths from the seabed at a depth of about 6000 meters near Nantori Island. Nantori Island is located approximately 1900 kilometers southeast of the center of Tokyo. However, some experts question whether the cost of commercial deep-sea mining, along with technical challenges, may offset its advantages in low radioactivity or heavy rare earth combinations. Environmentalists are also concerned about the impact on marine ecology.

Two companies have successively launched products, such as Anthropic just released its AI assistant Claude Cowork, and OpenAI immediately launched GPT-5.3-COdex.

The most significant conflict is undoubtedly the business model. Anthropic operates on a subscription system, while OpenAI is compatible with both paid and free (user viewing ads) models. A few days ago during the Super Bowl in the United States, Anthropic invested heavily in advertising, mocking OpenAI for allowing focused users to be "interrupted" by ads at any time, which made Sam Ultraman "laugh out loud". In fact, the "interest sharing and interaction mechanism" in the American AI industry is the main background for these entrepreneurs to attend the summit hosted by India.

According to Japanese police reports, a collision between a kindergarten school bus and a car occurred on the morning of the 24th in Yuanga cho, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, resulting in 14 injuries, including 9 children. At around 9am local time on the 24th, the police received a report that a kindergarten school bus carrying children collided with a sedan, injuring 14 people and taking them to the hospital. The injuries of the injured are being further confirmed. The police are conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.

According to Japanese media reports, a knife attack occurred at the Fukuoka City Comprehensive Library in Hayara ku, Fukuoka City, Japan on the evening of the 19th, resulting in three injuries, one of whom was seriously injured. The suspect has been arrested by local police.

According to reports, at around 19:50 local time, someone reported to the Fukuoka City Comprehensive Library that "someone was stabbed". Two men and one woman were attacked, one of whom was stabbed in the abdomen and suffered serious injuries. The suspect is a male who has been arrested by the local police. The police are investigating the details of the injury incident.
